Branson, MO. — For more than a quarter century, the historic 3000 seat Mansion Theatre has been recognized for its dedication to theatrical excellence hosting a myriad of classic stars including Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, The Oak Ridge Boys, Dennis Quaid, Kenny G, Johnny Mathis, Rhonda Vincent, Tony Orlando, Nelly and many more. Now, the newly defined Mansion Theatre For The Performing Arts takes its place as the premiere theatrical venue for the Midwest United States with an expansive celebration of concert events and award winning Broadway productions directly from New York and London. It all begins this 2021 season in grand style. Friday, October 22nd features a one night only special performance featuring the star of the award winning Billy Joel Broadway Musical “Movin Out” live in concert. “THE MUSIC OF BILLY JOEL” Starring Michael Cavanaugh. Michael was handpicked by Billy Joel to star in the Broadway musical. He has received both Grammy and Tony nominations in the lead role. Billboard has called him “the new voice of the American rock and roll songbook”. This exclusive one night engagement brings a celebration of one of the most iconic singer/songwriters in musical history featuring all of your favorite Billy Joel classics performed by the star of “Movin' Out” live on stage, Michael Cavanaugh Friday, November 26th and Saturday November 27th features the internationally acclaimed hit theatrical production directly from London. “THE SIMON AND GARFUNKEL STORY” will take the stage of The Mansion Theatre For the Performing Arts during this exclusive engagement. The immersive concert theatrical production chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the 60’s to their dramatic split in the 70’s. It culminates with the famous “Concert In Central Park” reunion in 1981 with more than 500,000 in attendance. Using state of the art video projection, photos and original film footage, the show also features a live band performing all of their hits including Mrs. Robinson, Cecilia, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound and many more.
